Crochet Pendant Lamp

What will we be doing?
We’ll go over the materials, lamp structure, and how to calculate amount of yarn required to complete shade. You’ll crochet directly onto the wire framing. No pressure to fully complete it during the session. We’ll go over finishing details, joining, optional trim stitches, and how to attach the cord set and bulb.
You’ll leave with a finished or nearly finished pendant lamp.

What is a Crochet Pendant Lamp workshop?
A hands-on workshop where you’ll crochet and assemble a soft pendant lamp from start to finish.
In this workshop, we’ll make a functional crochet pendant lamp using wire lamp shade rings, a cord set, and a warm bulb. The session focuses on planning, sizing, and crocheting the lamp shade panel, assembly, finishing, and turning the textile piece into a working pendant light.
All materials included.
How do I know if it’s right for me?
This workshop is best for people who already know basic crochet stitches, especially chain, single crochet, and double crochet.*
You do not need to be advanced, but you should be comfortable crocheting outside of class between the two sessions.
No electrical experience is required. We’ll use a simple plug-in pendant cord set and go over safe assembly together.
Each workshop is priced individually. If cost is a barrier, please reach out. I’m happy to work with your budget when possible.
